Blog 10

The media is filled with many types of terms and explanations for the things that are made in the field. Two terms that can be used in this field are logos and echos. Both terms refer to logic and reasoning, but echos is a more appropriate term for things like music video. Echos can serve as a post modern image for logos.

The two terms are similar to each other. They both can be used to describe the logic and reasoning behind something, but there are differences. Logos goes into description about what it is trying to describe, while echos is more like using a metaphor and can possibly visually describe something. Since echos is a term that can be used visually, it is a term that is easy to apply in the media. Echos can be seen as something that is in some ways, an improved way of using logos in terms of logic and reasoning in the media.

Some things work better for the media than others. Logic and reasoning is something that is important for anything, the media is no exception. Having the right way to present that logic and reasoning is equally important. In terms of logic and reasoning, echos is a proper term to use in the media.

                                 

Blog 9

There are many factors that make up the model of communication. Two of the key factors of communications are expression and perception. These factors are also able to be reversed in the field of communication. The reversibility of expression and perception can also be a major part in communications.

A big part of communications is utilizing these factors in the field of work that the person is in. People need to be able to express their opinions and creativity, so that their work will get noticed. People also need to have their own perception of things, so that they will be able to make their own judgments on whether of not something will work. When these factors are reversed, it gives the opportunity for someone to be seen from a different point of view. Reversing expression and perception in communications can give people a way to see an individual, or even a group through other factors; such as appearance and devotion. Sometimes one expressing themselves or making a perception, is not the only way for them to communicate. There are factors in communication that can be realized when people's expression and perception are reversed.

The model of communication is a complicated one. There are many more factors to it then most people realize, and these factors can often be reversed. The model of communication can be explained in other ways, when the factors are reversed.

                                

Blog 8

Aesthetics can be a major principle in the field of communication. They can be a way for the work in the field to remain in quality. Aisthesis and synesthesia are also part of the field of communication in their own ways. Due to them being able to work in the same field, these three factors can related to each other.

These factors can work in more ways then one. Aesthetics are the principles in what makes something art. Synesthesia is when something that is stimulated becomes automatic. Aisthesis is someone's perception of senses. When someone is putting something into a perception, they are able to make that something work in a form of art through work and concentration; which in itself, is a form of communication. Something can become automatic over time, or could be created to be automatic. There are things that can be created automatically through methods such as machinery or someone being able to do it over time through experience. When something is able to make it to the point when they do things automatically, it can turn it into an art form and have standards through a form of communication. Even though it is complicated, these factors can be made to relate to each other in the same field.

Communications is a large field where many different factors can be made to work with one another. The factors mentioned before are only examples of ones that can relate to one another. the more these factors are used, the more creativity that will come from them.

                                        

Blog 7

Hyperreality is something that is not necessarily uncommon in the media. It is when something that is reproduced is preferred over the original. New things are being thought of or being produced in the media every day, and people often want to take advantage over something's success. Hyperreality is something that will likely stay in the media for a long time to come.

There are examples of hyperreality in the media. Apple's Iphone has been a huge success in the market, it has changed the way that many people view cell phones.  Since the Iphone was a huge success, other cell phone companies were making their own versions of touch screen phones; which could all be considered Iphone clones. Some of these phones were successful, and there are people who prefer one of these models over the Iphone. People have also changed their version of Iphones to other versions like Iphones four and five. Hyperreality does not just apply to phones, but to all other forms of products in the media. When something that is a copy of something else is superior to the original, people will prefer it.

Everything in the world changes over time, hyperreality is part of that change. Something in the world will have it's time to stand out, but eventually something else will be made that will be superior to it, whether it is a copy, a newer version, or something different all together. Hyperreality is a way for things to change in the world.

                             

Blog 6

The media comes in many different forms. Everybody has a form of media that they know and understand well. If there is one form of media I am interested in it is the field of film. Film is something that I have learned about in many different ways over time.

I am able to use film in many different ways. Film can be used for simple entertainment and pleasure, when I just want to watch a movie and enjoy it. This form of media can also be used in a form of work, such as making a movie or video through editing software. Knowledge of film can take someone very far, and the industry for it is huge. It can even be used for escapism; when I want to just take a break from the real world, I can immerse myself into the film that I am watching. Media can be used in more ways then most people think, and film is just one form of it.

The media is something that everyone needs to learn about, Everyone will likely use it in some shape or form during their lifetime, and they can learn a lot from it. The ideology of media impacts people's way of life, and every can see and use it in more ways then one.


                                             


Blog 5

The term style, has had multiple definitions in the media. It could be defined as a catalog, a mark of quality, or a current trend. Another way to define style in the media is musical visuality. This definition can be just as important to the media as any of the of the other definitions.

Musical visuality itself plays a major role in the media. It is how someone interprets sights and sounds. Music is something that has played some sort of role in everybody's life, whether they realize it or not. People are able to see things differently, so people having their own visions and sounds of what they hear, can lead to endless possibility and creativity. Musical visuality fits perfectly into music video because, it is a form that fully utilizes sound and sight. People's sight and sound are crucial to them, without them, they would not have much left.

Musical visuality is something that is important to us. It is something that we are able to use automatically on a daily basis without even realizing it. As long as music remains in the media, so will musical visuality.
